A Legacy Born from Family
A Pangwi family reunion is never truly complete without bonding over coffee after a long dinner. These are the moments when relationships are woven through conversation and the sharing of fond memories. Inspired by their favorite classic Italian film, Ervine Pangwi and his family named their coffee shop “Il Padrino.”
The venture began in 2009 in a search for superior coffee. Growing up in the Cordillera region, Mr. Pangwi was intimately familiar with coffee culture. In the highlands, every social gathering centers around coffee, making it the heartbeat of a close-knit community. This tradition, deeply valued by both farmers and families, honors the time spent and experiences cultivated over a single cup.
