Great Coffee and Great Conversations

Relationships strongly bonded over a cup of coffee is the vision of Il Padrino when the Pangwi family decided to share their own take of rich brewed coffee. Catching up over a cup of coffee became a habit for the Pangwis during their reunions, which is something that’s also very common in every Filipino household—enjoying coffee during conversations.

From the Heights of the Cordilleras

Growing up in the Cordillera region, Mr. Ervine Pangwi is all too familiar with the culture of bonding over a cup of coffee after having a lovely dinner.

The Pangwi family began their venture in search for the better coffee in 2009 when they put up their first Il Padrino branch in their building along Commonwealth Avenue.

They then selected the coffee blend sourced from coffee farms in the Cordilleras that matches the Italian-inspired food they wish to offer.

Your Meeting Place

With the dynamic demand of modern consumers, Il Padrino stepped up to the challenge and redefined the brand— a comfy ambience and a better hub for intimate gatherings for families and friends.

They offer the best speciality coffee, drinks, and food with passion, with fresh and nutritious ingredients, in a courteous and friendly manner, and exceeding customer expectations.

Living up to their standards, Il Padrino ensures that every guest is able to create wonderful memories with their loved ones.

Brand Growth

The trust for the brand propelled the growth of Il Padrino and justified the efforts of the Pangwi family.

After opening in 2009, by 2012, they put up the second branch in Robinsons Galleria. In 2013, they expanded their brand beyond Metro Manila by opening a branch at Robinsons Starmills in San Fernando, Pampanga.

The first branch in an Ayala Mall, Fairview Terraces, was opened in 2014. It was 2016 when they rebranded their image to a more modern and millennial look starting with the Baguio branch along Session Road. Il Padrino is now serving better coffee to five branches across Luzon.
